“Let us search out and examine our ways, and turn back to the Lord.” Lamentations 3:40
How often do you examine your ways? How often do you sit down and put your lives under a microscope? We can glance over our everyday lives and not think much about them. Yet, if we consider each passing thought, each insensitive or thoughtless word that comes out of our mouth, every careless action that we do out of habit, how would they hold up against the Word of God?
God’s Word urges us to compare our lives with what God says in His Word and to repent of all that is sinful and evil; as we look to Jesus and His cross for pardon and forgiveness. Let us seek God’s help to amend our erring ways and to walk in His way.
Start examining your ways and test them on a regular basis. In doing so, you may find yourselves at a distance from God. In turn showing us our need to return to Him.
PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, reveal to me my sinful and erring ways, O Lord, and move me to true repentance. Lead and guide me iby Your Spirit n the everlasting way . I need you and I love you. In Jesus name..AMEN
