“This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you.” John 15:12
Friends, Jesus left important instructions for all of His children to follow – that we should love each other with a divine, self-sacrificial love, that only comes from Him – a godly affection and gentle kindness that can only be imparted to us by His Holy Spirit, as we remain in Him and He in us.
The essence of the Christian creed is contained in this extraordinary command of Christ.. love one another in the same manner that I have loved you. Let us seek to live our lives as unto the Lord in spirit and truth. Christ willingly sacrificed His own life so that we might live – should we not do the same for others?
PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, please help me to love like you love. I know that in and of myself I cannot love the same way that You loved me unless I completely surrender my bbn life in your hands. May I Love, as You teaches. It seeks the good, the well-being, and the welfare of others as well as one’s self. In Jesus name..AMEN
