“Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. ‘You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:12-13
“Is prayer your steering wheel or your spare tire?” – Corrie ten Boom
Did you know that Prayer is getting prepared to do God’s will? It has the power to cure sickness and shatter the habits that enslave you. As Christians we must get on our knees before we can get on our feet.
Friends, we can be confident that God will respond to our prayers because of His great mercy and grace. But it is our responsibility to approach God with reverence, love and gratitude for all that He has done. God gave us His only Son, and through Jesus we can share in God’s glorious presence. God promises that if we seek Him, seek Him with all of our heart, we shall find Him.
Prayer does not need proof; it needs practice. God is not far off. He is as close as the next prayer you pray. How is your prayer life?
PRAYER:
Precious Lord, thank You that we can call upon You and pray to You. Thank You for the promise to listen to us when we seek You. Thank You for Your great Mercy and Grace. Teach us Lord, through Your Word the attitude of gratitude when we call upon your Name. Thank You for Your everlasting love for us. In Jesus’ precious Name. AMEN
