“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22-23

Friends, are the difficulties in your lives overwhelming? When going through the most difficult times, base your lives on the stability of God. Claim in faith that God’s steadfast love for us never ceases, that His mercies never come to an end, that God’s faithfulness is great. And because God is faithful, we can live with assurance even in uncertain times, times of pain, times of lament, times of doubt.

So today I want to encourage you, in the midst of a pandemic; in these uncertain times, you can find stability in God, the God whose faithfulness is great. Like the author of Lamentations, let us freely cry out to God in our pain and confusion. Yet, remembering God’s steadfast love and daily mercies, may we also confess God’s faithfulness, and therefore have hope!

PRAYER:

Heavenly Father, we often allow the darkness of night to overshadow our daytime. Shine the light of your love on us each day so that we can see your blessings. Amen.
