“I can do all things through Him who gives me strength.” Philippians 4:13 This Bible text has become the foundation of my life! I grew up in Belize, a tiny country nestled between Mexico and Guatemala. Life was perfect; filled with laughter, friends, family and God. Yes, my life was carefree; until one day I found myself  homeless, penniless and unprepared for a cruel world. My life became filled with hardships and heartaches that I felt it was easier to just give up and give in.

That was two years ago and I can honestly tell you that while it was not an easy journey to overcome, I did it! I learnt to depend on God totally, learnt to trust that He has a plan for my life and most of all  I learnt to wait on Him.  Friends, learning to be content is ALL things is the medicine that helps us to not only go through difficulties; but to know that in Christ we can do all things because it is He who strengthens us.

I pray that this Bible verse is an encouragement to you and that you know without a doubt that in what even looks like defeat, you are already victorious through Christ Jesus. Great things happen when the Cross and Our lives collide!
